James Cameron Calls Wonder Woman a 'Step Backwards' for Feminism

Oh boy oh boy oh boy...this oughtta get interesting. In his defense, he has made movies with strong female characters.
It seems to have flared up on Twitter, haha. Dunno, I need to drink some more before I read more about this. Things aren't one is all right and one is all wrong, but unfortunately, everybody these days seem to feel like it's a binary. I liked the WW film and Gal Gadot as Diana? :love29:
But it wasn't perfect, then again, how many movies are?
I don't think I'll agree with everything that Cameron is saying, but ugh, I don't like the comments "he's a man so his opinion doesn't count" at all. He's not a professional troll, so I will listen to his comments and see what he is saying.
This whole, you're a man, so you can't comment on feminist issues in comics & films is silly. Where there that many people here who were more exited about the Wonder Woman film here than me? And the last time I checked, I am a dude. And I wasn't even thinking about feminism, per se, just wanted a good movie. And a good movie with a strong female character will empower women as a result, and it doesn't have to beat anyone over the head. Just like a good Black Panther movie will help show Black folks in a good light without having to be preachy.
I'll read the article, and maybe, comment. I don't want any of my bias to show, though.
