Down for a naked Aquaman
uh...pardon me? This is staring Jason Momoa, correct? Hmmm. I've only seen two comic book movies in my life, the one where Christian Bale wears Armani and the one where Ryan Reynolds squeezes those thick thighs into that red suit. So...if this is true, Aquaman sounds like a yes.

Is that a hard no?

All I'm saying is the man's got that wicked "Man V" that I'll never have in my life.

I think you may be looking for that hunky hunks thread. Or whatever it was called. Chunky hunks? That doesn't sound right.

Are you kidding me boys!?lol. This thread just got awesome. Of course JD will start a petition to have me (deservedly) banned. Worth it. Luc, all those surfer boys from Hawaii have “the man V”, they’ve been in the water since they were three, don’t fret. As a former resident, they are more fun to look at then actually spend time with (yawn) so, keep being you and above the superficial nonsense.

Steven Spielberg to Produce and Potentially Direct DC Movie ‘Blackhawk’

Hurm. I dunno. DC has a stable of properties(The Demon/Hawkman/Blackhawk/The Question/etc) that they are constantly trying to reboot with a 'this time it will get the public's attention' attitude. Spielberg makes it interesting...but there just isn't much of a market for what is a really dated and time specific character. See the Phantom/The Shadow/Flash Gordon.

Damn is this ever going to go away?

The story or the franchise?

'Cause, really, about the only thing I need to pay any attention to from this whole new thing is Wonder Woman.

I have a nice selection of Batman versions to keep me happy there: Keaton, Bale, the campy West version, and what is probably be the definitive version: the Animated Series.

The Superman 1 & 2 with Reeves, I can take if I need them.

Don't even get me started...

DC Universe Developing ‘Swamp Thing’ Series for Streaming Service
http://collider.com/swamp-thing-tv-series-dc-universe/#images

Ok...I realize that a full tilt Moore-esque version would be costly and an unlikely 'theatrical' success. But Streaming Services have been hit or miss. Looks like CBS went $$$$ for the new Star Trek, but you hardly hear about it. So...we are looking at something that will likely have a low budget. Now...if they embraced the weird and stayed faithful to the best run of the comics, I'd be ok with that. But probably not. And we will get a cheap/scaled down version that may not even be as good as the Guilty Pleasure movie. So...could be surprised, but more than likely disappointed.

Yeah, but the movies aren't exactly a high bar, haha.

If Marvel fans can have stuff like the Netflix stuff, why can't we have good TV series too? :pssst:

Oh, yeah, we're hapless DC Fans.

Actually, I like the Supergirl and The Legends of Tomorrow TV series, but maybe I've drank the Kool-aid, dunno. They accomplish what they aim to as series.

But, yeah, way too many streaming services, and the Disney one is coming up. The 80's had the Cola Wars and we now have the Streaming Wars!
