Lakewood Ice Rookie Leage FB Page. The photog (Seth) put them in the comments section of his post. Apparently it's some kind of app?

I'm not sure what's more impressive, BD's dedication to staring at her ass, or her dedication to completely screening BD...

she did screen me on the 3rd goal of that game, i couldn't see it until it hit the upper half of my stick and went in...a wrister i should have easily had from the top of the slot.

From the video I thought that guy in Round 2 had a halfway decent move, couldn't see that you got the poke-check in. Right on. Definitely looks like you're being fairly aggressive in a couple of those, which I guess makes sense given how slow they were moving.

Slow skaters mean easy surprise poke checks. Video doesnt show Round 1, I gloved that one. One guy shot it after I poked the puck away.

Well good news on my front. The league coordinator is going to let me play on 2 teams in the playoffs even though my divisions aren't consecutive. Kinda stoked about being able to do it legally.

This past weekend we only had one game but I did manage a goal. Just a quick shot from the dot on a nice feed from the corner. Goalie didn't see it clean as he was screened by his own dman. I actually had a great chance set up at the top of the hash marks off a clean faceoff earlier. Unfortunately I shot it too close to the goalies body and he kept his arm in to prevent it sneaking through. There was a lot of net...

Our own goalie gave up a goal he wished he could have back a thousand times over. Looping wrist shot from the point that bounced about 3 feet out from the crease. Took a right turn on the goalie and just beat him. Its like having a deflection in front sometimes. I'd like to hear how you feel about those shots Beedee.

The posts were the player of the game though, I think we hit at least 6 and they had 2.

I've been hearing soooo much about the inequity amongst teams in the different league and at different rinks. Talked to a guy on Saturday who plays Copper at Anaheim and he says there's like 5 players on his team after half the team left/quit in the middle of the season. They've scored like 10 goals all season. Part of it I think is the fact that a lot of the people running these league maybe aren't particularly experienced and/or aren't too concerned with it. I do know that they (being the Rinks at Anaheim and supposedly Lakewood) are aware that there are some issues and are supposed to be making changes for the fall season but what exactly happens I guess remains to be seen. This guy also told me he plays in a league at Ice Town in Riverside which is a LA Kings affiliated rink. Their rookie league season started in July but runs through December, I was thinking maybe I'll try to jump into that midway through and see how it goes. Also a bit cheaper than the Anaheim leagues which also helps.

Peggy get use to it. Every league has players that do not belong at that level. Normally higher skill players playing in lover levels to pad their ego. However, some play in lower level because of the night fits their schedule(ie: me when I do play in leagues)

I don't think I have ever seen a rink coordinator ever successfully move a ringer from a league.

Note: Ringers don't normally show up till Bronze, Silver, and Gold level.
