My takes:
- Get rid of JMac...that kind of coin for a backup keeper is ridiculous.
- Fagundez....his price always bothered me. I wish we could trade him. (no disrespect, but his salary is sky high for being a sub, and sometimes starter....and his production is average IMHO)
- Zanka making more than Maya.....Kuntz must have really thought Zanka was the answer to Maya's wheels coming off. .....and to think how our center backs would be if we didn't move Jalen Neal.
- Paintsil almost twice as much as Pec.

IMHO there is a significant amount of issues with both $$$$ and quality on this roster.
Offseason / this summer's window should be a "Bring out yer dead" time for Kuntz.

This is a great game for the final. Loving every single second of it. Mexico will be prepared, good. Sunday at 4pm fellas, in Texas... let's GO! Something tells me that a US loss will produce more fireworks (literal) in Los Angeles than on Friday's independence celebration. And, I'm here for it. Sing when you're winning. =)

Our boys need to find some of that tea sipping energy that the Women's team had.

Aside: Mexico's kits are easily on top my top 5 of the last world cup and they look great now. Wish the art school grad who designed theirs could help our Ralph Lauren inspired yawn fest kits.

Talked to a coworker yesterday about Guatemala, their team and they were excited but uncertain--wished them luck. Question: is sending a ping of Kim Kardashian crying gif too much? Yes, right? F. I still might do it.
 
First half I was like "I want this team to be our world cup team. they'll die for each other and will be so fun playing against mexico."

Second half I was like "nah I don't think I want to watch them play Mexico".

Luna is nails though.

I sorta felt like that in the first half and then remembered who the opponent was, and was like....ummmm yea.

But I gotta admit it felt good to up 2-0.

Nice to see players play for the crest. Now if the first team guys can play for the crest and mix in these guys, we could have "something".

Come on Poch....work your magic.
