Sources: Nashville SC sign on-loan winger Jonathan Perez to a permanent deal from the LA Galaxy.

Galaxy will receive $1.5m cash trade for Perez + $300k add-ons. Signs new U-22 initiative deal.

Perez, 22, has 29 apps with Nashville after joining on loan last year.

Sources: The New York Red Bulls agree a deal to acquire goalkeeper John McCarthy from the LA Galaxy.McCarthy, 33, is a two-time MLS Cup winner, including being named MLS Cup MVP in 2022 with LAFC.

The whole 4 goalkeepers thing is mismanagement on a significant level.
Kuntz could not get one good offer for JMac in the past offseason after JMac got ANOTHER MLS Cup?!?!

Now the G's get virtually nothing for him.
Perhaps Kuntz thought he was worth more than he was, and waited too long, and now he is essentially given away.

Sidebar: The return for sale of Perez is pretty good.

Glad to see the kid get starts.
He is good for most MLS teams, he just never was going to get a crack at the lineup much here in LA with the P's starting.
