I thought the Cap'n America movie was a lot of fun...a real popcorn movie.
I mean the character tho.
I know a ton of comic geeks and I don't know any that like Cap as their #1 guy.

I thought it was terribly mediocre.
I can't imagine the Avengers minus Cap. It just ain't right. It's always been hard to like the character because he is kinda uptight and the equivalent of Superman as far as being the moral center. So...likeable, not really. Essential...well yeah.
You guys just don't know how to let go and have fun. They ain't all gonna be Citizen Kane
Upon reflection...the Avengers movie was meh across the board. What did ANYONE really do?

Dear Lord must I explain it again?!
It's possible to completely enjoy something that you know is utterly mediocre.
I like McDonalds. I liked Thor.
That doesn't mean I have to think they're quality products.
I still enjoy Howard The Duck.
Theory. Blown.
Yettttttttttt you harp on ad nauseum about the quality of said product. Mixed messages is all I am sayin. Do you go to McDonalds and criticise the admittedly bad food infuriating everyone and then tapping out saying 'well it's not like I expect it to be good'. You can't have your cake and eat it too sunshine.
do you have the capacity to enjoy something without overthinking it? Just...'hey that was a kick'...and then STOP.
That...explains a lot.
Yea... I'm a thinker. We're annoying.
