I really didn't care for the piping and trim. His costume was always so cool because it was soooooooooooooo black. I feel differently than you guys do. I think the trailer is overstuffed with semi homoerotic, men glancing into other men's eyes. And, like the disturbing trend in Marvel flicks, primarily costume free. I think Marvel still has that mass hypnosis effect that people oooh and aaaaah when given anything. But weeks after you actually see it...how will you feel. Ultron was the most empty movie ever. I wouldn't rewatch for free. I just don't know anymore. This, judging from the small sample , looks bloated. Like everything good about the second Cap movie...but turned up to 11. And it really is just Avengers 2.5 isn't it? Would love to be wrong...but I am officially meh about this.

I don't know. I don't think everyone was hypnotized by Ant-Man. And this is by the Russo Brothers coming off Winter Soldier (which I have now seen about 500 times on cable and still love), so I feel perfectly justified in being excited.

Maybe I'd feel different if it looked like they were trying to shoehorn everyone in (Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Vision, etc), but this teaser doesn't even show them.

I agree that Panther looks a little more "ornate", especially the mask, but... I don't care. It's Black Panther.
 
I actually really like the Black Panther costume. The eyes look amazing! I hear what you're saying though, JD.

Civil War looks great to me. It seems like it's not going to be super bloated with a bunch of characters we haven't been introduced to yet fighting each other. Instead, it's way less characters, most of who we've seen in more than one movie and gotten to know.

I'm also a huge Winter Soldier fan, so I'm glad this looks like it's going to focus a lot on him as well as his relationship with Cap. And I'd love to see Tony get his ass kicked, so it LOOKS like it's going to be pretty fantastic.

I for one am looking forward to Civil War. And, I mean, come on, Black Panther! :punk:

And that didn't look homoerotic to me, but I read D.H Lawrence, so my homoeroticism has to be more explicit for me. mhihi:
