The Avengers/Marvel movies

I'm very, very excited for Daredevil.

It's totally unlikely, given the tone of the trailer, but I want this to happen.

Hopefully these Netflix mini series are at least half as good as the Agent Carter mini series. From what i understand the movie division had a hand in the Agent Carter series tho

Yeah, I don't see that. This definitely looks 'made for tv'. Second tier stuff really. What matters is the storytelling. Also read(will try to find link) that it would be broadcast in 4k on Netflix.

Will Angelina Jolie Direct Captain Marvel?

Here is an interesting story coming out of OK! Magazine’s most recent issue. In their insider section, the magazine claims that Marvel Studios is after Angelina Jolie to direct their upcoming Captain Marvel movie. The report also says they are offering her $20 million to take on the project. Having a female director on the project of course makes sense and they say that Marvel was very impressed by her film Unbroken.

I haven't seen anything she's directed, but would still prefer this not happen.

Both halves of the two-part third installment of the "Avengers" franchise will stay put, with "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" scheduled for May 4, 2018 and "Avengers: Infinity War Part 2" scheduled for May 3, 2019.

oh boy if Disney errrrrrrr Marvel could get it's clutches on the Fox properties...FF tanking should speed that property back home but X-Men(although handled poorly despite the box office in my opinion) will be the hard nut to get back.

I find it horribly sad that Doctor Doom is not where he belongs. Imagine...

Sony Still Moving Forward with SPIDER-MAN Spinoffs; Marvel’s Kevin Feige Won’t Be Involved
http://collider.com/spider-man-spinoffs-sinister-six-marvel/

OOof the subtleties of this deal are yet to be outlined. So Marvel can use Spidey...but not the other characters? Do the crossover rights extend to these tie ins? Marvel has no creative input over the spinoffs...so will they even want to get involved? Man this is gonna be better than the movies themselves as soon as someone says some off the cuff remark about someone else's movie.

stop Mr Fix-It baiting me...

One of these days, one of these days...

I still think it's kinda silly though that Bruce Banner can moonlight as a Vegas Enforcer without people figuring out there was something off, I mean he was as a big as a house and grey skinned. Then again, everyone is hammered in Vegas, that no one knows what is up or down. mhihi: :manybeers:
