In a conversation with io9, Feige acknowledged that a third Guardians movie was probably in the pipeline. “We’re only working on what’s been announced through the end of 2019,” he said. “And it is still a big chess board for 2020 and beyond, but certainly I would say Guardians 3 is [one film that’s] up there. I don’t know what exactly the order will be.”
Okay, as long as it's the debut of Tarantula, and it's to set up a Tarantula vs Batroc movie.
What if it's this Tarantula?
Or this one?
Variety broke the news about the Michael Keaton Spider-Man casting. Details are being kept under very tight wraps and as of now we don’t know which character Keaton is playing. (For what it’s worth, there was a rumor going around recently that the Vulture could be one of the antagonists appearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming.) Also starring in the film are Marisa Tomei as Peter Parker’s Aunt May, and Zendaya in a mystery role.
'Civil War' is effective thanks to a focus on character, with the film's extended roster serving to explore and underline absorbing ideas about family, friendship, and the use of power. As big as this movie is, “Captain America: Civil War” thrives on a smaller, human scale. Striking and consistently engaging, the Russos deftly craft compelling blockbuster entertainment out of a a moral and emotional conflict, and that’s more impressive than any overblown display of loud and vulgar power. I know Keaton was the titular Birdman in that movie, but he seems more Norman Osborn than Vulture. I'm not looking forward to going over treaded ground, but if they're starting to do things right, might as well go with his archnemesis with such a worthy actor.
I don't disagree, but I also think it's not a bad idea to go with a villain we haven't seen before.
I love that Dark Avengers storyline, if they can get Keaton involved in the entire MCU as Osborn, yeah, I am in.
I haven't read any spoilers yet, but I wonder if Baron Zemo's role in Civil War is setting up the Thunderbolts?
