Oooh, there was the BIG concession had to make with Sony. I've read it was a separate deal, negotiated clear of his Marvel commitments, but that almost guarantees that this pulls in a decent audience. Smart.

not all good news

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Loses Michael Keaton as the Villain

kinda wacky to imagine him as Vulture due to Birdman, but whatever...you know it will be some nano techno paramilitary type outfit to keep it grounded. Cause you just can't have a 60 year old man wearing winged birdie pajamas...

Ok, Red Vulture looks kinda cool. But that Archangel disco mirror tile one...ewwwwww boy. Look, Keaton is out. Go with who they wanted to get for the last go round of Spidey flicks, John Malkovich. Sure, he is older...but man, talk about a villain who could steal the show. Him...in the original Flight of Icarus pj's. I am going to see that in a heartbeat. Nobody does sociopath better than JM. NOBODY.

quite F'n True?

It's "Quoted For Truth." Usually it's used as a way to keep a quote intact during an Internets row, so the quoted poster can't back out of an argument.

However, in this case, I just used it to affirm what I agree with.

I probably should have just said,"This" instead. None of the negative connotations assigned to QFT. In fact, since I've now already been QFT, I'll go ahead and change that to illustrate my point.

‘Captain America: Civil War’ Directors Say Chances of LGBT Character in Marvel Universe Are “Strong”

Dunno man. Why is this a thing? No offense to anyone...but if it works, let it happen. This need to feel like everything equals everyone...it's getting more important than actual story at this point. I am about as liberal as it gets. I live in West Hollywood and it's a great neighborhood...kinda the equivalent of saying I have black friends...I know. But it's all just so tiresome at this point. I mean, these guys are dressed in tights and spandex...can't you draw your own conclusions? I don't need to know the sexual orientation of a ****ing comic book character...UNLESS it's important to the damned story. Suppose they make Falcon, or Black Panther gay. Is that going to satisfy anyone? Or is it just going to lead to people yelling that a black character is marginalized even further. And...I don't know that Cap isn't gay. I don't know that Bucky isn't gay. I don't care. Special interest groups aren't just ruining politics. I get that you want to feel included...but fight for more movies with CONTENT that supports your preferences/beliefs. Not just categorizing characters whose sexual preference shouldn't even be a consideration.
