Finally watched Civil War last night. I probably would've enjoyed it more if they named it Avengers Civil War rather than Captain America. It would've just lowered my expectations since Winter Soldier was just so damn good.

Man, with the soundtrack and that nice 'bubble' room in the scene with Mantis, this is sooooo wonderfully 70's. I mean, Ego the Living Planet...that is such a nod to the real golden age of comics, the SEVENTIES!!!!!

And such an underrated feature of the first movie...the color palette that Gun uses is spectacular. I ain't even waiting to hear about the results, gonna see this in Imax 3D fo'sho.

Ugh. I have a feeling that this is going to be like DD, in regards to actually putting him in the costume. I don't know when it became satisfying to have a comic book property minus all the things that make it a comic book, but I don't like it much.
