The Avengers/Marvel movies

Not exactly 'visually striking'.

All I want is Xmen movies to be on the level of Winter Soldier. I don't care about team-ups and crap, other than the occasional cameo or easter egg.

That's a pretty tall order since most Marvel comics, in my drunken opinion, aren't on the level of Winter Soldier. ;)

I get what you're saying though. The X-men is sort of its own universe, so while some crossovers can work, say a Wolvie/Cap crossover, if the story is good, but we don't need movies where Thor fight Magneto or Iron Man teams up with the X-men.

What's more important is that we get good solid X-character stories. There is so much potential.

Actually, since I am assuming Fox owns the rights to Silver Surfer, I want a really good Silver Surfer movie with cosmic goodness and Galactus!

I think the Surfer might be under the Fantastic Four umbrella, which I think stupid Disney was not able to acquire... Would be flippin sweet tho!

FF are indeed part of the Disney stable. The only property I can think of that exists outside of Disney is Spiderman...and there seems to be some co-operation there. Although Sony is developing the Spiderman 'world' without Marvel. So Venom and Spidey's Rogues gallery are still operating outside the MCU.

So we might get a decent Fantastic Four movie yet? ;)

I snucked (theater hopped) into Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer because I like the Surfer, and I still felt ripped off, haha.

It was a sad day.
