Adam Hughes To Reboot Betty & Veronica

Damn. I mean... that's going to be a nice looking comic book.

I was just reading some old articles about Archie yesterday, and in one of them, there was a quote from Hughes about his first cover for an Archie book. Hughes was lamenting that he finally got to do an Archie cover, and Archie was not to be on it, having been killed in the previous issue. Hughes went on to talk about how depressing that was. Glad he gets to do some sunnier Archie fare now.

I'm going to watch The Flashpoint Paradox next, on the recommendation of (and loan from) a friend. It could end up being another case of All-Star Superman for me, where the things that impress me most about the animated feature are lifted right from the book. However, I haven't read any of Flashpoint, so seeing the video first might be the best way to enjoy it.

EXCLUSIVE: IDW CELEBRATES ROM'S RETURN WITH "MICRONAUTS" VARIANT COVERS

http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...es-roms-return-with-micronauts-variant-covers

ROM might be ready to return to the world, but is the world ready for a ROM return? Haha.

I have the complete run of that and the too cool for it's time Godzilla comic(that had Dum Dum Duggan) in my storage. Rom was terrific. There was this villain that looked like an anklysaurus(?) that was terrific. It actually was a really good comic. Totally rose above it's toy origins. I could sooooo see James Gunn sneak a Rom easter egg into GotG: vol 2
