REPORT: "SUPERGIRL" RENEWAL HINGED ON BUDGET TALKS, MOVE TO CW POSSIBLE

The sources close to the series say that CBS wants "Supergirl" to return, but the $3 million per-episode budget isn't justified by the show's ratings. The show debuted strong back in late October, but the ratings fell by half by the end of the season. That budget, the Wrap notes, is one of the highest ever for a freshman series.

Sources say that Moonves could end up moving "Supergirl" to the CW, a network that is equal parts CBS and Warners. Rumors have persisted for a while that "Supergirl" would move to the CW, which is already home to three other DC-based superhero shows ("Flash," "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow"). If the show did switch networks, the move would most certainly come with big budget cuts. An unnamed talent rep, however, said that there is "zero fact" to the rumor of a switch to the CW.

If this show doesn't get renewed, I am crying myself to sleep, well, more than usual. cry: mhihi:

So like the other CW DC shows, they can save 20% by moving to Vancouver, based on exchange rate. :)

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Is A Waste Of A Perfectly Good Oscar Isaac

I fail to see how they can capture the heartaching transformation of Angel to Archangel of the comics, within the time frame of this movie. Warren Worthington. who was one of the original OG Xmen...and the Hellraiser-esque stripping of his humanity and the horror and emotional weight of it. Such a waste. Singer has no access to human emotion and it's part of the reason the X-films are so tragically underwhelming. In it's heyday, it was the single most soap opera-y comic book with tons of emotional lows. Seems a no brainer to translate some of these beats into the film counterparts. But instead...you get flaccid, broad spectrum stripped down versions with NONE of the HUMANITY.

Any of the xmen character transformations need to be stretched over several movies. And I don't just mean Angel to Archangel, but there was even Beast turning blue, Jean turning to Phoenix, Iceman's transformation, even Wolverine being stripped of the adamantium. **** Rogue stealing new powers permanently. I can do this all day. Psylocke used to be British! But the movies give you like two hours at the most and they try to cram so much on you. Out of all these flicks I feel like Magneto is the only developed character, even with two different time frames. Anyway, I'm off to watch Night of the Sentinels...

X-Men: Apocalypse Needs to Be The End for Bryan Singer

Apocalypse, for all its bluster and all-star cast pedigree, is more of the same. And more of the same isn’t going to cut it, especially when its own studio is taking risks on characters such as Deadpool and winning big with audiences. While an X-Men movie doesn’t need to take an irreverent stance or curse its way into our hearts, it would be nice to see it do something new.

And now it's official. RIP. :(
