First Look At Rose McIver As The CW's iZombie - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

The thing that we’re taking from the comic is this mid-20s female zombie who eats brains and gets the memories of the dead, but we put her in a coroner’s office, so there is sort of a ‘case of the week’ each week where she gets snippets of memories of the deceased and tries to solve the crime.

Been reading this thread after a long time away....

I am cautiously optimistic about the upcoming Daredevil series, as it was/is still one of may all time favs.

I don't know if there has been anything new but I would not at all mind see Michael C Hall play DD.

And dammit they better do it right! I think most folks don't realize that Daredevil was the "Dark Night" before before Batman was. Frank Miller had his run on DD,itt was dark and nasty and then he basicially took the whole feel of it with him when he left and then did Batman.

If it is going to bein the Marvel movie universe I better damn see a lot of Scarlet Johannson as DD knocked boots with Black Widow quite a bit. Ok, wishfull thinking but they better get some smokin' hot chicks to play Elektra and Black Cat. For being blind DD sure did score with some hot chicks!

How about Bullseye? They better not **** this up! And again Bullseye was a vicious villian and then Miller basically turned The Joker into a Bullseye type villian for his Batman "Dark Night" run.

Again, I am slightly optimistic but I fear I will be disappointed.

Dunno...I think them Netflix shows could be the make or break for the whole Marvel movie AND tv game. I like Drew Goddard being the DD showrunner. Wish they woulda let Carnehan give it a go...he recently said that there were 3 DD eras, 7o's/8o's/9o's and his plan was to do a trilogy. That coulda been some fun. But yeah, there is more freedom in the Netflix model. No choice between having to PG-13 or R a big budget project(like the movies), or temper anything overtly, well, anything(like the Network flagship show). So they take some of the grittier, more fringe players and put them on a fairly unmonitored platform. Sounds like a win.

Such a good article, read it...I am sooo very excited for this movie. By the way, go back and watch the trailer...the shot of space through the windshield, amazing. This movie just looks so bright, colorful and fun(Gunn's answer about the soundtrack just has me even more excited because the music has fit so well already). This is gonna be a COMIC BOOK movie minus all the seriousness and grim sourpusses that have clogged up the genre. Take that Nolan!!!!! I really hope this signals a trend back to real comic values. Reality be damned...I want my FUNNYBOOKS!!!!!!!
