X-Rated X-Men Style Comic Book Coming in December
http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/127146/x-rated-x-men-style-comic-book-coming-december/

Noel Clarke has been a fixture of British culture for over a decade, appearing in “Doctor Who,” Doghouse, Heartless, Centurion, and Adulthood, which he wrote and directed. You may also have spotted him in Star Trek into Darkness, his only Hollywood movie thus far.

He’s now trying his hand at comics with Troop, published by Titan and described as an X-rated X-Men. Thanks to Bleeding Cool, we have a synopsis and preview images:

Synopsis:
Across the planet and unknown to each other, a group of troubled teenagers lead lives of quiet desperation. But hell is about to befall them, and they’ll find their lives destroyed when they are targeted by dark forces. On the run, they discover they have unbelievable powers and must come together – as The Troop!

Drawn by Joshua Cassara, Troop #1 will be released on December 9.

Looks Very CROSSED. I'm in-terested.

DC Comics Editors Strongly Urged To Use Affirmative Action When Hiring Writers And Artists
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2015/09...tists/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook

I get the word from good DC Comics sources that DC Entertainment editorial has been very strongly urged to start upping the numbers of female and non-white writers and artists on their books. And for white, male freelancers to be nudged down the submission pool.

Pandering? Smart business? Justice? You decide.

Also...blind item. There even any merit to this or is someone at Bleeding Cool just trying to make a headline?

NYCC ’15: Dark Horse Announces The Moebius Library

Dark Horse Comics is proud to announce today ahead of New York Comic Con 2015, that the library of Mœbius, one of the most influential and respected artists in the history of comics and cartooning, will arrive on store shelves in a lavish series of hardcover volumes, making his work available in this format for the first time in nearly twenty years.

Oh, dear lord. I hope they're not too astronomically expensive. I'm going to need the money to buy an add-on to my house to store them.
