it's hard to watch... All the questions surrounding Skinner and the Nucks only muster what 15 total shots last game; and 5 through the first 10 mins of the 2nd tonight

It’s been the same story since Game 1, really. Connor Garland/Joshua/Lindholm is the best line Vancouver has while the big money forwards take a back seat. That’s just not enough to get past the Oilers.

I can already see it. Vancouver is going to pay Hronek 7M a year while letting Zadorov and Joshua walk as free agents. This team is not a contender without those two. Way too many bad contracts.

I don't know the cap situation is in VAN (other than Petersson's break the bank deal) but Zadorov is really popular in VAN--especially after this playoff run... you'd get some real Blake-level hatred if they don't somehow re-sign him.

Vancouver has 24M in cap space. Only 3 NHL dmen signed. Hronek and Silovs are RFA. Zadorov, Lindholm, Joshua and Myers are UFA.

They DID make it a game, and almost tied it in the last 20 seconds. Had they played the first 50 better, they might have won.

No chance. With the premium on d-men in the UFA market and this playoff run I can see him getting 6.5M on a 6+ year deal.

Boo, Oilers eliminate Canucks in Game 7 and advance to the WCF. Vancouver choked again at the worst possible time. Now I really hope Dallas crushes Deadmonton in the WCF.

Give me Dallas in 6. Dallas’ offense will test Skinner more than Vancouver and certainly more than the Kings. If Skinner has a strong series the Oilers will advance.

Stars have one weakness, and by weakness, not elite. 5 sounds right, although a sweep would be so poetic. Would really put a damper on McDavid and the goons making the WCF two out of three years if they don’t win an actual WCF game.
