Just watched PLD bury a snapper vs. Sweden. Would love to see that snipe from the right wing repeated over and over next season. The guy can definitely finish… if only Hiller can unlock Dubois’s mind… dream on…
 
Grundstrom has scored 2 of the 3 goals for Sweden today. Guy has a great wrister. Never seemed like a 4th line guy. Hope he gets a top 9 slot on his next team.
 
Complete failure by USA and Canada at this year World championship.
And Grundstrom scored game winning goal in game for bronze medal.
PLD also scored and he finished tournament with 9 points 5 goals and 4 assists.
 
PLD needs to be on PP1 next season put him down low next to players who can generate offense and watch him score. For a whole slew of reasons it sure seems like Hiller and TM really over thought when it came to Dubois. Simple is better.

Fiala needs a 5 on 5 offense that creates chances on the rush, period. Let him work his magic with open ice and the puck on his stick. He thrives when there’s a bit of chaos. Get defenders moving and Fiala will find the seams. We saw this time and time again this season when teams would bottle up Fiala for 2+ periods but give him daylight on a shift or two and he would find a way to score or setup a goal.

I’m not asking for a wide open run and gun offensive system next season. I just want to see what this roster can do with more puck movement on the back end and a less rigid passive offensive approach 5v5.

The guy makes passes so quick, hard, and unexpected it's almost ridiculous. I'm not sure we have a forward on the team who can catch those passes on put them in the net so it'll be interesting to see if he finds chemistry because that would be killer. And the Fiala's just had a baby girl a few weeks ago :D
 
Lol Pastrnak only got 1 point in whole tournament by scoring 1 goal and he got Czechs gold medal and Zacha only scored goal to eliminate USA.

Why does the crowd audio in this Oilers game seem like it is fake. Reminds me of the covid lockdown games where there were no fans.

Just started watching it. Come on Stars.

The think that concerns me is the fact that these have been close games so far. When the starts played the Knights, they owned the knights for the most part. Only goaltending kept vegas in those games. Not so much this series.
