Toronto is up 2-0 in their series against Florida in Round 2 of the EC side of the playoffs. Can Toronto finally get over the hump and not only make it to the EC finals but also make it to the Cup Finals this year? Maybe, but this is Toronto we're talking about. They'll eventually find new ways to choke in the playoffs again.
 
I was thinking tonight that Toronto's fans must be freakin out. They are so close yet so far from the only success that matters.

I agree but Dallas needs to up their game a lot. Last night they were totally outplayed for most of the game.

Yeah they still worry me. Right now I see a totally viable path for EDM to return to the Finals. Both DAL and WPG have proven choking potential.

Conversely, this is why I see the same path where Kings could have made the Finals.
 
Wow what an unbelievably stupid penalty by Roy on Frederic. Next level to earn a five minute major in OT in a series you’re down.

And yet Vegas was able to kill that major penalty in spite of Hyman almost getting that OT winner at the end of that PP. Vegas had better be careful not to slip up in their series against Deadmonton.
 
Boooo, Deadmonton wins it in OT. Now they're 2-0 in their series against Vegas. But that non-call on Arvy who was responsible for sending McNabb in the boards is what changed the momentum. Lord, do I hate the Coilers, way more than Vegas now. Those refs also played a big part in that win for the Coilers, what with those non-calls in Deadmonton's favor. And usually Vegas also gets help from the refs too. Too bad when facing the Coilers, the refs are not on Vegas' side; that's really saying something. These refs seriously need to be fired as they're a major embarrassment to this league by giving preferential treatment to certain teams, especially towards Canadian teams like Deadmonton and Toronto. This is seriously becoming WWE-levels of embarrassingly bad when referring to these refs.

Nice to see a team not roll over and play dead against these Oil scum.

Tough way to lose for Vegas but that’s an inevitable goal. Arvy getting away with a trip doesn’t help.
