Booooo, Coilers win in OT. Thanks for that dumb penalty, Nosek. All it took was one unnecessary penalty to seal it in OT. But that Arvy goal earlier in the 2nd period really was the deciding goal of that game thanks to Bob misplaying the save on that shot. That goal was totally on Bob; that's something he really should have made a save on and to cough up a softie on that really changed the flow of the game. For an elite goalie like him, it's inexcusable.
Hopefully, the Cats will bounce back in Game 2.

I’d actually love to see a Canadian team lift the Cup again too, but just not these guys. The Oil are the only team I actively root against. I have preferences for the playoffs, but any team can win. Have fun, be happy.
But not the Oil. I just want pain. Kinda like the way Drai serves it up.

I want Florida to win this series. But it feels like Edmonton is going to win. Idk, maybe from a Kings perspective that might be a good thing. I feel like McDavid & Draisaitl are going to be relentless in trying to get a Stanley Cup. And this year the Kings can’t do anything about it. So maybe this year they win it & next year they’ll be ripe for an upset if we play them for the 5th time. The only drawback is the most insufferable fans in the world will be even more insufferable.

Iginla is class. Would have a good mix of smarts and articulateness, and wouldn’t be too stiff to keep up with the jokes. Hank’s face keeps him on air. I know my fiance loves seeing him.
WPG and TOR being so pathetic come playoff time comforts me as I grieve the Kings. But for Canada’s sake I wanted them in the final. Have to give it to EDM. They’re not pathetic. The only reason they haven’t won yet is some kind of moral justice, but this run is making me fear that eventually even virtue tires out against criminality when the fight has gone on too long.
