Iginla is class. Would have a good mix of smarts and articulateness, and wouldn’t be too stiff to keep up with the jokes. Hank’s face keeps him on air. I know my fiance loves seeing him.

WPG and TOR being so pathetic come playoff time comforts me as I grieve the Kings. But for Canada’s sake I wanted them in the final. Have to give it to EDM. They’re not pathetic. The only reason they haven’t won yet is some kind of moral justice, but this run is making me fear that eventually even virtue tires out against criminality when the fight has gone on too long.

To your karmic fire approach to life/sports, great, big fan of personal growth/accountability but, we both know if that were the case: Iggy would have won the cup with Sutter in 04. Still mad. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a quick strike offense like this Oilers team. It’s uncanny how they can be pinned down and outplayed for big portions of the period and instantly turn around and score. Truly a bend don’t break style of defense.
