The Nucks regain their series lead again against the Soilers. Come on, Vancouver, you better be dead set on finishing your job and eliminate Deadmonton in Game 6 of the second round. Those jokers cannot be allowed to reach not only the Cup Finals but also even the WC finals. Then hopefully Dallas will take care of you.

As for the EC contenders, bummer that Carolina got knocked out by the Rags. Well, to me now I'm going for Boston to make it to the ECF and maybe the SCF. Sorry, but I'm not ever pulling for the Rangers to win the Cup despite Quick with the team.

Edmonton looks beat up and tired. This series has been hard on them. The Kings, for a short and bad series, were more physical against the Oil than in the past.

I think VAN is going to pull this off. But even if they don’t, I’m hard pressed to see either go more than 5 against DAL. The Stars have faced stiffer competition and are only getting better.

ECF will be all time. And the Cup final is also looking to be pretty awesome.

Agreed. Vancouver finally got 3+ lines working last night and they carried play for the vast majority of the game. Oilers were overwhelmed by their sustained attack. Their goaltending kept the game close but it really wasn’t a close game.

Dallas has better depth than Vancouver but the goaltending for Dallas could be wild card. The West has been a whole lot of fun to watch because every team has one glaring weakness.

The East is just scary.
