Don't just sit back, Florida. Getting conservative with your lead opens the opportunity for a Deadmonton comeback. You need to keep your foot on the gas pedal and shoot the puck more often towards the Coilers' net.
 
Panthers putting on a clinic since the start of period 2. They’re just coming in waves. There’s zero sitting back. They’re making the Oilers have to play defense and expel energy without the puck. Seems so simple but no team has been able to do it for a full series.

Yet I'm still seeing the Panthers on their heels at times and nearly giving up grade A goals by the Coilers here in the 3rd period. The Cats are still holding on to a single-goal lead towards the final ten minutes of this period.
 
Skinner is pulled out of his net for the extra attacker. And you better not let them come back to force another OT, Cats. This is exactly what happens when you play too conservatively this period. Also, don't ever take an untimely penalty here, Florida.
 
Oh no. Not freaking Perry. He ties the game to send this one to OT. Gawd, I hate that punk. See, Cats, this is exactly what you get for playing too conservatively this period. Not getting enough time in the O-zone and sitting back to expect the Coilers to not break through does not work that way, especially in critical games like the Cup Finals. Just ask Hiller's Kings.

He was just about ghosting in last year's Finals too. Where's the hateable, do-whatever-it-takes-to-win mentality that was in this guy before? At least Marchand doesn't put up a vanishing act in the playoffs as well as this year's Finals.

I was thinking the same thing I haven't seen much Tkachuk's big dumb face in this series
 
And now OT of Game 2 has begun. You collapse again, Cats, and you'll be heading back to Sunrise with a lot of questions you deserve to have in your face at.
