I figured you were quoting. I just meant that was kind of funny that they claimed that. Plenty of beers are aged in oak barrels.

Btw, you probably can't get any, but Lost Abbey's Angel's Share is the best bourbon barrel aged beer ever. So, so good.

Im comming over to the states soon, so I will give it a go, thanks for the heads up. Im very impressed with the ammount and quality of micro brewery beer that is comming out of the U.S.

Last night was Young's Oatmeal Stout. Not bad, not bad. Pretty damn smooth and very drinkable for a stout. Rogue's Shakespeare Stout is far better though.

Now that the Winter brews are starting to hit the stores, I picked up a sixer of New Belgium's "2 Degrees Below", which I really enjoyed. I think I'll wait until temps drop a bit more, though, because I did get a rather uncomfortable warming afterwards. Also got my lot of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.

Is the Celebration Ale out already?????

Yep, it is. But in the meantime, you can also still get some SN Harvest Ale.

I haven't been able to find that at BevMo yet :(

I am really looking forward to that stuff. It was great on draft when I had it last year.

I just checked with 3 stores out here and none have the SN Harvest Ale. I am really running out of options :(

I recently tried some russian beer... It was really good... They have it at Jon's Supermarkets... If you guys find it I would recommend the #5 and #9 brew (8%alcohol!)... The brews range from 1-9... Make your pick!

Great call on the Baltika ! Their "Russian Wheat Ale" or whatever it is called, is up there with the best wheat ales I have ever had. Only 2 bucks for a tall bottle too at most stores !

GREEN FLASH WEST COAST IPA

A classic IPA with a heavy hops bite and a kick that will stun a mule.

Excellent on tap or in the bottle!

I first tried it at the Yardhouse and enjoyed it a lot.
Yesterday I picked up a sixer at the Wine Country in LB
and it's equally as good in the bottle!

B U R P ! ! !

Yeah I think I tried that, "triple hoppy" or something like that. It was good too, I love IPA's!

Hey Az, I found 24oz bottles of SN Harvest Ale at the Cypress BevMo today, so they're still out there.

Thanks for keeping the eye out for me ! Luckily, I got it on draft at Danny K's in Anaheim a couple of Fridays ago, and T Phillips Alehouse here in La Verne has it as well. If I am in the cypress area anytime soon I'll drop by :) Thanks again !
