Sure have, boss. As you can see...I even have a couple more that I'm aging (picture taken before I stored). Hopefully it gets a little better with time.

Have you ever seen how fast Abyss or Black Butte fly off the shelves? The Mirror Mirror was a disapointment...IMO. Seems to be the same consensus from a majority of craft brew fans posting on BeerAdvocate as well.

Well, I like it. If you don't, then that means more for me

I hate the whole rating system on beeradvocate. I love the website as a resource for information on the beer community, but I don't take any user reviews and/or overall scores seriously. The Abyss at #3/100? Hah! What a joke. There is no way that surpasses the Speedway Stout from AleSmith.

As with most things, taste is subjective. Just because someone thinks some beer going for $30 is the be-all-end-all doesn't mean I'm gonna like it. Hell, some of the best beers I've had have been relatively dirt cheap. [jack] Same thing with cigars. Guys fawn over these high-priced, hard-to-find cigars all the time yet when I try some of them I'm left thinking, "That's it? That's what I wasted my money on?"[/jack]

The elitism annoys me a lot*. Some of us in the cigar community have a saying, "Smoke what you like, like what you smoke." Same thing goes with beer.

* however, elitism against the mongols that drink Coors, Budweiser, and MGD is perfectly fine. They deserve it.

Tried this guy last night. Picked up a few of them in Corvallis. I recommend.

saw that in Vendome's the other day, but I was buying something else. had to.

Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence 10th Anniversary – This beer poured out a dark espresso like color with a dark mocha colored creamy head. The aroma was subtle and not overbearing. The beer was very rich! I had a hard time finishing this beer and by the time I did I was kinda full as if I’d just eaten stew. The beer had a mild taste of cocoa with a slightly bitter finish. Unfortunately I was involved in conversation and stopped taking notes on the beer. Overall I liked this beer. I don’t remember the price on it but I’d imagine it was pretty pricey.

I usually pick up the Chocolate Indulgence around Christmas. The richness seems to go better with cooler weather.

Nice! I have 4 of those sitting in the fridge like missiles waiting to be fired.

I had one of these last night

I decided "**** it" I have never had a beer from Africa or Kenya It really wasn't bad at all. Actually pretty good. Easily one of the lightest beers I have ever had. I would drink this over Corona any day if I were at the River or something

I had the Hoppin' Frog "Hoppin' To Heaven" IPA last night. Not bad, not bad. The nose was incredible, and absolutely as smooth as could be for an IPA. I'm really not big on that style anymore, as I much prefer an Imperial Stout or Barleywine nowadays.

Have you tried Mirror Mirror?

It's a ****ing great barelywine

This one has been hard to find, but I finally found some at High Time. It is the 11th Anniversary re-packaged.
