Good move. Kings retain his RFA rights after the season. He should share the Ontario net with Portillo next season and one of them will be the next in line if the Kings run into goaltending injuries again in 24-25.The Kings tore up Ingham's AHL contract and then signed him to a one-year, two-way contract worth an average annual value (AAV) of $775,000.
Kings got a backup goalie?
As of right now, these are the goalies of the future. Will be interesting to see what we look like at goalie next season. Gotta believe at least one of Rittich or Talbott will not be around and they will try to find a true number one via FA.Good move. Kings retain his RFA rights after the season. My money is on a trade for a starter this summer. A couple of established guys will be available and there’s always a big money reclamation project out there. Waiting out the market seemed to be the right move by Blake instead of paying out the nose this season. As of right now, these are the goalies of the future. If our 2 guys can continue to platoon and not fall off a cliff, it will look like a good move. But yeah, gotta add someone over the summer. My money is on a trade for a starter this summer. again and again, they find a way to make a pretty stacked team better. They will be absolutely loaded once the LTIR ends and the playoffs start. Absolutely brilliant GM and staff. Hate them with a passion. And now I’m seeing they’re working on a contract extension. That’s a huge pick up for them.

LTIR is a thing of beauty. Plus they somehow get teams, even ones in their division, to eat salary so they can add guys. They'll likely have to dump salary in the offseason but every guy they add is better than the guys they dump.Thought they were up against the cap. Guess not
On another note, the leafs are pretty quiet
Funny how teams that are out of the playoffs, even in the same division, are willing to make those teams better.Ugh unreal. The Oilers and Knights really upgraded thanks to their divisional opponents smh
