Stephen Bishop - Careless. An album that features unlikely guest players Eric Clapton, Chaka Khan and Art Garfunkel (OK, so Art isn't so unlikely) and the classic yearbook sign-off in the liner notes: "Have A Bitchin' Summer!".

Yeah I know...talk about guilty pleasure.

Stephen Bishop DID come up with my favorite song title ever:
"I Feel So Miserable Without You, It's Almost Like Having You Here"

Hey momma, when you leave
Don't leave a thing behind
I don't want nothing
I can't use nothing

Take care, into the hall
And if you see my friends
Tell 'em I'm fine
Not using nothing

Almost burned out my eyes
Threw my ears down to the floor
I didn't see nothing
I didn't hear nothing

I stood there like a block of stone
Knowing all I had to know
And nothing more
And that's nothing

As brother are, troubles are
Locked in each others arms
You better pray
That they never find you

Cause your back ain't strong enough
For burderns double fold
They'll crush you down
Down to nothin'

Being born is going blind
And dying down a thousand times
To echoes strung
On pure temptation

Sorrow and solitude
These are the precious things
And the only words
Worth remembering

Townes Van Zandt - "Nothin'"

Chess

The musical, best known for "One night in Bangkok" the other tracks from the show are excellent as well!

Possibly the greatest Rawk'nroll album no-one has ever heard...Pete Way/Paul Chapman from UFO and Fin Who actually sings the theme of the U.K. version of the office. Any o' you folks who dig good music...(DR destructo are ya feeling me?????) check it out.

Gordon Lightfoot - Sundown

Since it's release in 1974 it has consistently been one of my favorites. Every song is top notch (IMHO).
