Interesting. Granpa Al seems rather restless after the retirement of Ministry. This is a mixed bag. Songs that have been covered to death(Paranoid/Iron Man/Purple Haze) and are just fuzzboxed and predictable. Others that are overcovered(Paint it Black) yet the Ministrization actually works and some of Al's rephrasing are inspired. Then, of course the reworkings of past Ministry faves(Stigmata, N.W.O., Every day is Halloween, J.B.M.H., Khyber Pass((best of the lot)). And then...the curiousities. Amy Crackhead's REHAB...Sharp Dressed Man...AC/DC's Thunderstruck. I love it because I love Ministry, but if Granpa Al is so bored...make another MINISTRY cd. You don't have to tour.
