Good, but not great like The Hawk is Howling (which is my fav album of Mogwai because it ****ing rules).

It's definitely different but a little "too light" for my taste. Several of the tracks are bouncy and heavy on synths. I would say my least fav song is How to Be a Werewolf. It's like Mogwai-lite. Whereas You're Lionel Richie is heavy, throbbing, and has the best potential to be ear blasting loud live (and the best track of the album, imho) - How to Be a Werewolf is luke warm and "fart in the wind" weak.

Ordered this today...great interviews by Eddie Trunk and Howard Stern allowed me to forget how much I hated 'I Can't Drive 55' and how much I loved the Red Rocker back in the day. Also ordered his book...if the excerpt from Rolling Stone is any indication...this is a must read. Say what you want, but the guy has an amazing set of pipes and he has been doing it for a hellalongtime.
