well...no news of a new Eagles of Death Metal...but!!!!

Josh Homme On Jesse Hughes, Stone Gossard & Soul Sucking Labels @ Antiquiet

As for Jesse Hughes, Homme could barely contain his excitement about the new solo record the man known as Boots Electric is quietly working on. Having recently heard studio cuts, Homme claimed it was as fun as ?watching a bunch of superballs being dumped off the 10th floor.?

The album (which may or may not be called Boots Electric Fabulous Weapon) has been in the works for a couple of years now and still does not yet have a release date.

Please, thank you!

Now, I love me some MANOWAR, but the band ain't been the same since Ross the Boss left. His first cd, with a German MANOWAR tribute band was lacking, but DAMN...this ALMOST sounds like classic MANOWAR.

PJ Harvey's Let England Shake....

Probably one of the most depressing albums I've ever listened to and not something good to hear when you're already having a rough week. I guess it's pretty good still, I don't particularly like the subject material or how her voice sounds but it's better than the crap on the radio like Kings of Leon.

I still miss angry and screaming PJ.

Wow...usually 'deluxe' remaster/re-release packages are just half assed nostalgia bids(cash grabs). Thin Lizzy shows how to do rereleases. These cd's are lovingly remastered and have multiple goodies on the second discs. Not just throwaway b-sides either. Nice quality demos and BBC live performances. The liner notes/artwork make you miss lp's as well

One of the only Lizzy albums I did not previously own. OLD...Eric Bell on lead, but essential stuff.

Two 'must-haves' for any fan of rock'n'roll. Soooooo looking forward to future editions...Black Rose, Bad Reputation and eventually Thunder and Lightning. ESSENTIAL!!!!!!:firefire:

so I'm gonna pull a complete 180 on this

I used to absolutely hate the Arcade Fire. I still don't care for some of their earlier work, but dammit I really like "The Suburbs"

It's just grown on me
