Adgy gave me an Amon Tobin cd to listen to because he bought tix for an upcoming concert. It sounds like Michael Bey's transformers talking to each other while having sex. It's unbearable, like nails on a chalkboard to me. So, who wants to be Adgy's date for that night?

he said you'd go with him.

yes unbearable. that guy needs to have his box with knobs license revoked. Tobin that is, not Adgy. the sweet sounds of your manwich with him while you guys are naked and smothered in mayonaise is more pleasant that Amin Tobin's music. :D

I'm not much of a "rock" fan, but this dude kills me every time.

And, the unreleased follow-up to Screaming Trees Sweet Oblivion is finally getting released next week, 20 years too late.

Last Words - The Final Recordings is a bit of a misnomer, seeing as this album was shelved during a contract conflict, and they then released Dust 4 later before breaking up for the umpteenth time.

Screaming Trees were too ugly to fit in the MTV fueled grunge pop scene, and man, did those fat, ugly, drinkin', injectin', fightin' dudes hate success. But they were one of the very, very best bands of the late 80's-mid 90's.

Not as bad as I remember it. I guess I hated this album for so long because I blamed it for the end of my childhood. Now I have Gene's GREED and Ace and Peter's out of control addictions to blame for that. I forgive you DYNASTY.

The new remaster is pretty damned good too.

They were actually in pretty active rotation on MTV with Nearly Lost You.
