Haha! You silly Adgy!
Let's play the fantastic four game, so I'll recommend these.
The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
The Terror by Dan Simmons
Books of Blood Volumes 1-3 by Clive Barker
The Shining by Stephen King

Revalation Space- Alastair Reynolds
From his Amazon page: "Alastair Reynolds was born in Wales in 1966. He has a Ph.D. in astronomy. From 1991 until 2007, he lived in The Netherlands, where he was employed by The European Space Agency as an astrophysicist. He is now a full-time writer."
Turns out he is a pretty good sci-fi writer and this is his first effort. A hard sci-fi space opera book that I enjoyed.

Third in a series from author Chris Wooding chronicling the adventures of the crew of the spaceship Ketty Jay. As with the previous books, this is very much in the style of Firefly and is a very good read.
REading the Dune series. Didn't like it as a teen. The first 60 or so pages of the first book was boring as hell then it starts to pick up.
Is there like a reminder site, maybe you can hit me over the head. Even though his stuff has spanned years for me it's never hit a dead spot where i needed to be "ready" to read it.Out next June:

I know what you mean by this. There are authors or book series I love where waiting sucks, and by the time a new book comes out in the series, I've forgotten to check the website or whatever and then "all-of-the-sudden" I'm all like: "WHOA!! THE NEW BOOK IS OUT!?!?! IN PAPERBACK!?!?!? FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS!??!?"
Now, reading electronically, I pre-order through Amazon. When the book is released, it is automatically delivered to the Kindle app on my iPad. Never miss a new book.
also started 77 shadow street.....starts slow
Just finished Clockwork Angels, The Novel on my commute home the other night. It was an enjoyable read, for the most part. But that was mostly because of the Rush lyrics and song titles that Kevin J. Anderson wove into the story...kinda like Easter eggs for die-hard fans of the band. The story was fairly good, but the ending left quite a bit to be desired, in my opinion.
So, on to reading Orson Scott Card's newest!

By the way, jammer...this is one I'd have totall forgotten about had I not put in the per-order with amazon.com. It automatically downloaded to my iPad's kindle app the day it came out!!
