‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ Books World’s Smallest Woman for Role | Variety

The world’s smallest woman, Jyoti Amge, will join the upcoming season of FX’s “American Horror Story: Freak Show.” The show, in its fourth season, will take viewers sixty years back and down to Jupiter, Florida and center on the last remaining freak shows of the 1950s.

The Strain - SPOILER ALERT

I suppose it was only a matter of time until there was a "good guy" race of vampires

I have to say, I read the books and, so far, I thought the series was good, but held no surprises for me. But now, the race of Knights Templar-esque Vamps(and we aren't even sure they are at this point), have made the entire thing much more intriguing. They are not in the books, unless my memory is severely compromised, and a welcome addition to the mix.

New Zach Galifianakis, Louis C.K. Series BASKETS Gets Ten Episode Order from FX ? Nerdist

Hey, people who like good things! You’re fans of Zach Galifianakis, right? Good, because we have some major news for you: FX has just ordered a 10-episode first season for his new show Baskets, and the news gets better because the show is also going to be executive produced by none other than Louis C.K.. According to the network, the series, co-created by Galifianakis, C.K. and Jonathan Krisel (Portlandia), will make its debut sometime in 2016.

The official plot is as follows: “In a world constrained by corporate interests and the homogenization of society, one man in Bakersfield, California dares to follow his dream of becoming a professional clown. But after an unsuccessful enrollment at a prestigious clowning school in Paris, the only job he can find is with the local rodeo. Baskets follows Chip Baskets’ (Galifianakis) pursuit of his dream, against all odds, to be a respected clown.”

Tyrant finale' spun it's wheels a bit. How they resolve this really will determine what kind of a future they can have storytelling wise. I think they may have jumped towards the coup a wee bit quickly and I am not sure what else they can do. Barry can't be allowed to stay so there goes a lot of your credibility if that's what they choose to do. Should be interesting. Or it won't be. We will know a few eps into s2.

Had kinda lost the Bridge after the episode where the prosecutor got killed...just seemed really obvious. But I just minibinged the last 2 and...well done. First off, the origin story and reveal of just who was in that cage...brutal. And Sonia being confronted by the dishonesty of all those who she counted on...and her inability to process grey areas due to her mental illness, thus keeping her from understanding that right ain't always right, wrong ain't always wrong...Good Stuff Maynard!!!! And, as always, the reporters storyline is awesome, probably more the driving force of the show than Sonya/Marco. Just outstanding all around. Sadly, we have to be nearing the end of the season...maybe 4 more at most.

Agreed. Sonya's captain really just crushed her world along with everyone else.

The Strain was a lot of fun last night! It's like a new team of ghostbusters fighting vampires. I. don't like the hacker girl and wanted something bad to happen to hear.

Something likely will but not until she gives up her secret and maybe reverses things. That character, also not in the books, soooooooo
