I don't know, a creepy clown?

Was I the only one who thought the Illustrated Seal guy was ok...then he spoke in a British accent...and it just went to another level. That opium fueled fetish 8mm reel was a weird interlude. Disturbing too. Waaaay disturbing. Unless that is your thing. Then...Huzzah!

So, other than the shocker...your thoughts?
I'm new as I never watched the prior seasons. But I kind of dug it.

Spoiler Alert

I'm not a big "gore" guy (I like more suspense-type horror), so I was a little nervous when the clown first started "chopping" at people. But it wasn't overly done so I survived. The clown’s mouth does scare the bejeezus out of me. I liked how subtle he was in bowing and doing the juggling, but going on a rampage as soon as he saw that girl’s boyfriend.

Honestly though, Jessica Lange was almost the creepiest part of the show. The way she asked the two headed girl about being a virgin, her singing, doing it because she wanted to become a “star” and the reveal at the end, she’s just so…..creepy!

Kathy Bates is very good (as always) as the pseudo motherly figure. The beard seems totally normal on her!

Funny thing was, I started to feel for the freaks. When the guys drove by throwing bottles at them, you’re like “go get those a-holes”. In some weird way the whole episode had many undertones of why some of these characters were in need of empathy. Of course then they start murdering people and you’re like “damn those freaks are insane”

Is it really just going to be freaks tired of getting bullied go after the townspeople, or a lot more to the story? There has to be some in-fighting between the freaks too right?

Yup, Carney/freak politics starting this week with Michael VIC MACKEY Chiklis.

TV-Cap: Clowns are Mad at AMERICAN HORROR STORY, Seth Rogen on THE COMEBACK, and More BROAD CITY ? Nerdist

Send in the Clowns: Twisty the Clown is upsetting real, actual clowns. Because apparently Twisty gives all those goof-faced demons of deception a bad name. Which: ha ha ha ha haaaa! Please. Upside to this article? I learned a new word: coulrophobia or ‘clown fear,’ which is a real thing. (Alternatively, it’s called “common sense” I think.) Don’t worry, clowns: your reputation as terrifying specters of doom and horror dressed up as a playful cad was solidified way, way, way before American Horror Story: Freak Show.
