Rewatched the first two episodes last night. They have been feeding us a whole lot of info all along - it is great.
Anyone got the feeling that I just can't shake which is the "incident" from 30 years ago is going to be the incident in the original movie? I am probably wrong but with all the references and great throwbacks to the original movie - to me the new park and admin offices were built right on top of the original from the 1970's movie - I just can't shake the feeling there will be some sort of tie-in.
Just a great show but I am very interested to see how they extend it to multiple seasons.
Quite possibly the story. Interesting. Now That Ford Knows His Enemy On ‘Westworld,’ He Can Finally Start Making His Moves

Some good spec. Spoiler stuff in here.
As soon as he said "what door?", man.
They have been talking about that anagram for weeks unfortunately.*SPOILER ALERT*
I try to avoid spoilers, I try not to overthink things in case it may in turn spoil things, and I try not to reveal anything that is a spoiler in case others feel the same way. However, by accident I read what seems to be a huge spoiler today - the anagram that others may already be well aware of. An anagram is very obvious for people who like to think ahead and try to solve things, so maybe the writers did it for fun to throw such people off of the truth. Whatever the case, when an article gives a spoiler alert about a particular episode and then includes spoilers BEYOND that episode, it makes me want to set fire to the writer and anything they have ever loved. It's really infuriating.
The other thing I can't shake in \W/ - everyone is making like Ford is evil. Why does it feel like he knows about everything that goes on in "his" park and why isn't ok for him to protect what he has created? All the reviews are making like he is the crazy mad scientist but when is someone going to look at Delos as that? Go sign up for Delos Westworld vacation - I did and it would only cost me $3M for my dream White Hat vacation! - and you have to sign a disclaimer that basically states anything you leave in the park that is part of you (not talking clothing here) belongs to Delos in perpetuity! Umm ... sounds a lot like FutureWorld to me ...
