All Things:HBO/CINEMAX

I've rewatched every \W/ episode at least twice the week it aired (will watch last night's ep tomorrow since there's nothing on TV)... and the piano Radiohead x2 last night... Bonus.

Rewatched the first two episodes last night. They have been feeding us a whole lot of info all along - it is great.

Anyone got the feeling that I just can't shake which is the "incident" from 30 years ago is going to be the incident in the original movie? I am probably wrong but with all the references and great throwbacks to the original movie - to me the new park and admin offices were built right on top of the original from the 1970's movie - I just can't shake the feeling there will be some sort of tie-in.

Just a great show but I am very interested to see how they extend it to multiple seasons.

Never mind the robots, Robert Ford is the greatest 'Westworld' mystery

This article hints that this may not be a remake but continuity from the original movie...

As soon as he said "what door?", man.

Yeah, that was a big, neon lights flashing hint. So obvious even I got it. So all the suspicions about Bernie have been confirmed. Also, did you catch the tech mentioning "retiring" Clementine? That's a term straight out of "Blade Runner."

Not too surprising, but it appears the meetings Bernard has with Dolores is in that very same basement.

*SPOILER ALERT*

I try to avoid spoilers, I try not to overthink things in case it may in turn spoil things, and I try not to reveal anything that is a spoiler in case others feel the same way. However, by accident I read what seems to be a huge spoiler today - the anagram that others may already be well aware of. An anagram is very obvious for people who like to think ahead and try to solve things, so maybe the writers did it for fun to throw such people off of the truth. Whatever the case, when an article gives a spoiler alert about a particular episode and then includes spoilers BEYOND that episode, it makes me want to set fire to the writer and anything they have ever loved. It's really infuriating.

They have been talking about that anagram for weeks unfortunately.

So only 3 more \W/ eps to go... lots of things they can cover but probably too much for 3 eps... will it be a long cliffhanger until 2018?

The other thing I can't shake in \W/ - everyone is making like Ford is evil. Why does it feel like he knows about everything that goes on in "his" park and why isn't ok for him to protect what he has created? All the reviews are making like he is the crazy mad scientist but when is someone going to look at Delos as that? Go sign up for Delos Westworld vacation - I did and it would only cost me $3M for my dream White Hat vacation! - and you have to sign a disclaimer that basically states anything you leave in the park that is part of you (not talking clothing here) belongs to Delos in perpetuity! Umm ... sounds a lot like FutureWorld to me ...

Well, he did kill Theresa...
That being said I think pretty much everyone has nefarious motives. Nice meeting that the Delos broad had with Theresa, btw. Reading a lot of speculation, but nobody has pointed out that Ford is already building something in his downstairs lab. A Theresa host maybe? And Elsie...was that Bernard's arm around her throat? I'd like to think it's not that simple. I believe she has been co-opted into the Arnolds, who I assume are working some undoing. That will likely come in season 2. I love this show.
