I feel like this was all over HBO when I was a kid but none of the scenes look familiar... or maybe I was too scared...

Q's Horror rec of the week: Edmond, directed by Stuart Gordon and starring William H. Macy

Last night went on Prime and searched Stuart Gordon just to see how many Reanimator movies they had. Then I found this flick. Macy sees a fortune teller who essentially tells him that he isn't where he belongs. He goes home, tells his wife that he's leaving and goes out on the town. Maybe it isn't horror but I found it to be pretty intense. On his night out he tries to be who he thinks he really is and that isn't a great person. Also supporting cast here is great. You got the Stiles of Julia, Joe Mantegna, Bai Ling and her "erasers", Denise Richards, Mena Suvari, Debi Mazar, flippin Jeffrey Combs, Bokeem Woodbine, Dylan Walsh, George Wendt, etc etc...

Every attempt to reboot has been a costly failure. I can see someone just throwing up their hands and calling it a night.
