Same here. Put down for like six of them. Hopefully I get one. Not really sure what the odds are with this since it's the first time I've done it this way. Got on right at 9am so hopefully better than others.....maybe?Morgan Spurlock COMIC-CON EPISODE IV: A FAN

Kindest Regards,
yeah. much like i said last year, you have a group of people running this huge thing like it's not a huge thing. i was fortunate that I ended up getting a place (not on my list and a mile out but it's something), but they really really REALLY need to get their **** together. this is unacceptable at this point. it's been three years of them screwing something up in some fashion or other and it's really a shame. they either need new people running it, or someone to recognize that things are out of control.here was my response...
**** you. Seriously. I have no fear that we will get something, but this is just another example of a **** system getting worse/not better.
My guess with the hotel rooms is this:Yeah, I am pretty disgusted with the whole affair. I was so relieved after waiting for 5 hours and stressing the hell out with the reward of getting tickets at the con for this year. Thought all my troubles were over. And now, the frigging hotels are as hard to get as the tickets if not more so. Seems pretty ridiculous. I would imagine that a lot of ticket holders do not have rooms. How can that be? They should have more than enough rooms to go around...it's not as if they do not know what the capacity is. It really is a new cluster**** every year. The general excuse is 'hey, they are trying' well it's once a year. There isn't a lot of room for trial and error. You are right...it's not a mom and pop affair anymore, something that is apparently lost on the powers that be.

Saw this Saturday. Harmless fun...could have used a little more color. Maybe they can do a sequel about how damned hard it is to not only get tickets, but now a hotel room. Registration opened back up this morning and we find ourselves STILL without a room. The entire process is regressing to the point where it may be easier to win the mega millions than it is to have a stress free process of getting tix/hotel. Here's an idea...TURN CONTROL OF THIS OVER TO PROFESSIONALS!!!!!!!!! Or simply toss the towel in San Diego. Maybe it does need to move.
One change this year I do not like is they will no longer offer on site presale tickets for next years Comic Con. You will be forced to go thru the online BS next year.
Do you have confirmation of that? About 3 weeks ago I was sent a survey asking specific questions re:that very subject...what percentage should be sold on site, how many(per), etc. It did not sound like they were ready to cancel that option.
