Ok, so Archer in Indigo 5-6 Friday, so if(big if) we can get into Hall H for Star wars, and it is early-ish as predicted, then that could work. Hope that time don't overlap with Kevin Smith.

and you were wrong about the Strain apparently SK. Was hoping Sutter would bring Bastard Executioner...that's actually a pretty solid Sunday.

Archer
Panel 5:00-6:00 PM, Indigo Ballroom. Moderator: TBD
Archer, the award-winning animated comedy about a spy agency whose employees constantly undermine, sabotage and betray each other for personal gain, will bring together Creator Adam Reed and Executive Producer Matt Thompson with the voice cast of H. In addition to the panel, fans will see an exclusive screening of a “Best of…” reel highlighting many of the series’ best moments.

Sunday, July 12th

American Horror Story – fresh off its fourth installment, Freak Show, and soon to return with Hotel – will feature stars who will appear in both chapters: Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Matt Bomer. Yeah that Sunday looks very solid as a finish. I was thinking EXACTLY what you were about Archer as well. I think that's what we did last year too isn't it? Went from Archer to H for Kevin Smith? Typically he goes on about 6:30 or so after H finishes up that day I think? No matter what, it does appear that we won't be short for things to do. Quite a mix of different properties. Having the Simpsons and BBT back (and both in B20) fills out the whole thing really tightly.

Maybe one of those "New Filmmakers" type things? An hour for them to show two or three films?

Ok, the Ash thing will be a balm for NOT getting into Hall H. Maybe there will be some good NerdHQ stuff too. I Just know I cannot ask KQ to commit to two grueling Hall H days, and, if forced to choose...I think I would prefer the WB/DC and Legendary stuff Saturday. There will be more stuff announced I'm sure. The new filmakers thing is a nice thought, but better suited to Thurs/Fri. No, I figure they will stick another TV deal in there Too late in the day to be Saul, but I would imagine some kinda Fox thing as opposed to Fx. Like they used to do with Cleveland.

this is awesome

A couple of ideas I was thinking about for Sunday in that slot.

Orphan Black
The X-Files
The Leftovers with Westworld
Twin Peaks and Homeland

I know some fit more than others, but just an idea.

Also, re: Fri/Sat Hall H. Was thinking, how about for Thurs we scope out a spot for you and KQ, we all get wristbands (god willing) and then you two go back to your room and crash it out for the night. Then, on Fri, you guys repay the favor? Something to consider so we can at least enjoy our hotel rooms for a night or two. :)

See, I'm all in for that. I don't know though for sure. I want to see the schedule. I am starting to warm to the idea of only getting one of the two. We will talk about it brother...

AMC Set to Invade Comic-Con with WALKING DEAD Shows, INTO THE BADLANDS
http://collider.com/amc-invades-comic-con-walking-dead-fear-the-walking-dead-into-the-badlands/

In addition...

Not-unfounded suspicions suggest that new footage from the spin-off will premiere at the panel and, just maybe, the hugely anticipated casting of Walking Dead?s most dangerous nemesis, Negan, the role which everyone from Jon Hamm to Stephen Dillane has been rumored to be circling. Oh, and probably more stuff about the Wolves.

?Into the Badlands?

Panel from 10:30-11:30am, on Saturday, July 11, Room 5AB
?Press round table interviews available on Saturday, July 11 at 12:30pm,

About ?Into the Badlands?

In a land controlled by feudal barons, ?Into the Badlands? tells the story of a ruthless, well-trained warrior named Sunny (Daniel Wu) and a young boy named M.K. (Aramis Knight) who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.

AMC has ordered six, one-hour episodes for ?Into the Badlands,? which will premiere in late 2015. The project was created by writers/showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar (?Shanghai Noon,? ?Smallville?). They?ll serve as executive producers along with David Dobkin (?The Judge,? ?Wedding Crashers,? ?Shanghai Knights?), Oscar-nominated producers Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg (?Pulp Fiction,? ?Contagion?), and Stephen Fung and Wu (?Tai Chi Zero?)

I wonder....

Do you think Friday will lighten up if, as assumed, Star Wars goes first in the morning? I know there's a lot of crossover for the properties that follow, but how much of that room might empty after Fox is done in there around 11? 20%? More?

No. The double whammy of Walking Dead and (assuming, hell...this is all speculation at this point...) Game of Thrones will continue to crowd that room. Big Bang Theory over in Ballroom 20 will draw a pretty big crowd(they usually do) so that'll help...but I don't expect Hall H to be acheivable until after those 3 properties are done...if you ain't in...you ain't getting in. SDCC doesn't seem to be content with just one big day in Hall H this year, or even two. I expect the Thursday Mockingbird panel hosted by Conan and the Dr Who panel to crowd the room too. It's definitely going to be one huge flustercluck getting in there. The upside is that there is already a LOT of plan B stuff and more on the way. This year is gonna be all about patience and serious back up plans.

Just saw that Heroes is going to be in Hall H on SUNDAY too. In that spot we were thinking about. That day just got interesting as well.

Aw crap. Well it'll be easier to talk KingsQueen into staying because...CHUCK!!!!!!! Smart move really. Nobody knows how Heroes Reborn is gonna draw. Could have been embarrising to try to predict a big crowd in Ballroom 20 and get crickets. Sunday is safe. Actually, IMO, that's a really really nice Sunday package.

Universal Television Bringing ‘Heroes’ to Hall H, Grimm to Ballroom 20
http://sdccblog.com/2015/06/universal-television-bringing-heroes-to-hall-h-grimm-to-ballroom-20/

The series will take to the Hall H stage on Sunday, July 12 from 1:45PM-2:45PM with cast members Greg Grunberg, Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh and Rya Kihlstedt, and creator Tim Kring. They’ll present fans with an exclusive extended trailer in addition to the usual fan Q&A.

Yeah, I want to see that panel for sure.

Yeah I'm quite looking forward to that Sunday. It's shaping up to be a good year. Oddly, not a lot of exclusives that have gotten me excited. Might actually run light again this year and pick up a couple of little things.
