All Things: TELEVISON

Yeah man, I LOVE Lance Henriksen! Any reason to watch him is a good reason. Although at 75, he'll probably cameo as Frank B...but alas...its Lance Henriksen!

That was one of the best shows of the 90's, period. So underrated.

Nah, Henriksen is all in. Stumping for it for years. Check out his FB page.

25 hours is a lot to put on the ol' DVR, but I'm going to give it a chance. I don't think the teasers for this look good at all, so I might end up deleting it completely, but I applaud the intention of the network commitment even if the effectiveness of the marketing campaign is in question. Apparently, the 25-hour marathon will also include segments and live tweets from people involved with the show. They are only airing the first 10 episodes in the marathon, which means multiple airings of each show even with all the filler. But, even better IMO, Angie Tribeca has been renewed for "10 more seasons!"

So, I finished the first season of Angie Tribeca last night.

Loved it.

It reminds me a lot of Mel Brooks stuff. Some of the jokes are obvious and almost groan-inducing, but it works and fits the tone of the show. Lots of neat little cameos, running gags that don't stop being funny, Alfred Molina in every episode, Jere Burns and probably my favorite dog cop ever.

Got me. I'm a fan.

Have not wanted to finish the last 2 eps of Heroes Reborn on my PVR because it was so meh.

You already watched 11 episodes of it... finish the last 2! :)

Oh man... so bad. Somehow I had 15 mins of a State Legislature meeting from Boston on the final Ep and I didn't seem to miss anything. Huge wide open ending trying to come-back next year, but I don't see it happening.

Supergirl has a Bizarro Supergirl, so that's interesting. The Martian Manhunter stuff seems kinda groovy too. I am almost tempted to start watching...but...naaaaaaaaah.

I havent watched it so i wouldnt know, but i do enjoy the flash.
Myself as well, and Arrow. I'm about 5 episodes behind on each. Just so much tv to watch, but am trying to catch up.

Supergirl just was way too much cheese (like Flash and Arrow but 100 x the dawson's creek factor). But it may also just be that i really don't like ally mcbeal

And Red Tornado!!

Supergirl is not the best show on, but I think it's pretty fun. And it's a nice contrast to some of the more dark and depressing stuff I've been watching, haha.

I will say this, I am HUGE fan of the Superman Mythos (Phooey Haters! harhar1:) and this show is really tapping into that. Amusingly enough, haha, I haven't seen either Flash or Green Arrow. I sort of liked Green Arrow from the comics, and I think Flash is okay even though I was never really big of either. There's just too many shows coming out these days!!! Plus I still hafta watch the same Twilight Zone and I Love Lucy eps for the millionth time! mhihi:

I'm reading the article, wondering who the heck would… oh, Shout! Factory, of course.

I think this should have been released a LONG time ago simply as a cautionary tale so as to not repeat the mistakes of the past. That being said, i could see getting H.A.F. and having a marathon of this.

this i can get behind

Two of the quirkiest musicians around, Les Claypool and Dean Ween, are teaming up with two of the funniest people in the world, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, to create a reality show. NJ.com is reporting that the show will "fuse sport fishing with music and comedy, following Mickey Melchiondo [Ween] and Claypool as they go out on the water with celebrity guests."
