All Things:THEME PARKS

One review I read said that it made the rider far more sick than Star Tours...which I can't ride as it make me very sick. The addition of 3D in Hollywood has made the motion sickness problem even worse compared to it's Florida counterpart.

Yeah I can't hang on 3D stuff at all. I had a lot of ear infections growing up and my inner ear is all out of whack.

Sounds like the House of Horrors has been changed into a year round Walking Dead maze.

A ?Guardians Of The Galaxy? Ride Is Reportedly Coming To Disneyland

More info on the Tower Of Terror retrofit...

One of the hidden benefits of Disney owning the rights to Star Wars, Marvel, and your first born child is that you can come visit lil? Jackie or Johnny inside the Millennium Falcon at Star Wars Land, which is currently being developed by California?s Disneyland and Florida?s Disney World, or under the I Am Groot Treehouse. Nothing?s official yet, but according to reliable House of Mouse rumors website MiceChat, Disneyland is considering replacing the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride with a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.

The plan is for the original Twilight Zone backstory to be removed entirely, and replaced with an all new show based around the Collector character from the Guardians movie franchise. (Via)

So apparently being discussed as a complete redo instead of just a retrofit/skin

Rode it today and it was definitely nauseating. Had to sit down for a few minutes afterwards.

We went yesterday, and yeah, I got a little sick too ?? and I don't get sick on any of the other 3D motion rides. I think part of the reason is that it whips you around pretty good. I'm surprised no one has complained of whiplash.

But in saying that, I'd have to say it's one of the best rides I've ever been on. The ride queue alone is worth getting in line for. We had one lady in front of us exit the line as soon as we came to the ride part. She just wanted to see everything in the castle. It's pretty impressive and beautifully done, and I'm not even that big of a Harry Potter fan.

In fact the whole village of Hogsmeade is something to behold. The attention to detail in all the buildings, every store window, and the smallest fixture is astounding.

I would think the people of Disney now know they have to step in up when they do the new Star Wars land.

Definitly agree. The queue was amazing , and the village was pretty too. We did the buy ticket online, get in an hour early deal, and really didn't have as much time in the queue as I would of liked. Should of done that explore the queue, get off before the ride thing.

Sadly, it really was the only submersive land at Universal Studios.

Something strange about the gator story. Not sure I believe it. No witnesses coming forward yet. But if true completely horrific ...
