All Things:Video Game Movies

On side note I put ELP's version of Peter Gunn on repeat and play Spy Hunter on the way to Vegas.

NEED FOR SPEED Trailer. NEED FOR SPEED Stars Aaron Paul and Dominic Cooper | Collider

DreamWorks has released the first trailer for director Scott Waugh’s (Act of Valor) video game adaptation Need for Speed. The film chronicles a cross-country race against time as a blue-collar mechanic (Aaron Paul) who was framed for manslaughter by a wealthy, arrogant ex-NASCAR driver (Dominic Cooper) sets out for revenge in a high-stakes underground racing tournament. Judging by the trailer, Need for Speed is almost the opposite of what I expected. I assumed it would simply try to rival the Fast & Furious movies, and instead it looks far more dramatic. There’s no rule that an adaptation of a video game can’t be serious, and the car stuff looks good. Consider me interested.

I really want Aaron Paul to do well post BB.

Just because it has that music it is dramatic? That is only less ridiculous than The Fast And The Furious movies because a third grader playing with Matchbox cars and dinosaur toys could come up with a less ludicrous storyline and action sequences than a The Fast And The Furious movie.

But yeah, I totally want to see it. I'll take Italian sportscars over modded Hondas any day.

Nintendo's Plans For A Legend Of Zelda Movie Will "Play With The Format" Of Cinema - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

If we were to make a Zelda title, if we had interest in doing that, I think really what would be most important to us is to be able to play with the format of a movie, make it more interactive, like you’re able to take your 3DS into the theater and that leads you into participating in it somehow. We wouldn’t want to make it the same as any other movie. We want to somehow change what a movie is.

Misleading headline.
