I’m not sure how I feel about Kings hockey for the next few years. This half a decade of mediocre hockey has really soured my care about the team. Obviously I care but I really don’t want to support a management squad whose only mantra is “get in the playoffs” without any real game plan for it. That’s why I could respect Lombardi, at the very least he had a rough but deliberate plan for the team.

I’ll always be a Kings fan. But right now I’m way more interested in seeing what happens with Utah. They had a really good season and I like their players. I’ll be watching the Kings from a distance until Blake, Robi and Hiller are gone, and I’ll be watching Utah more closely.
 
I don't know how many years are left on Hiller's contract. And I don't know if ownership will want to pay another coach to not coach. But I don't know what other choice we have. I saw the post game press conference. And as long as he refuses to admit that not trusting the entire roster was a factor in the loss then he's not going to correct that mistake. It's that & playing passive in the 3rd. But I think they're related because you can't be aggressive when you're gassed. I said in the GDT that Hiller might have coached himself off of any NHL team that had playoff aspirations.

Could be. And Blake could very well be taking his orders from above as well. It would not surprise me whatsoever.

The evidence I’ve seen over the years for the scripting of pro sports via Gematria is irrefutable for those with eyes to see. I’ve had to work really hard this season to just ignore it so that I can watch hockey games and just enjoy it/life. I’m essentially gaslighting myself and pretending it’s all real. I’m like Cypher from The Matrix asking to be reinserted and to remember nothing. NOTHING.
 
Hiller was signed to a three year contract with a "trigger" option for a fourth year.
Rob is in the final year of his contract.

8 years of Blake.....that is more than enough time to right the ship, and get beyond getting bounced in the first round over and over again, or not making the playoffs at all.

Poor leadership will give poor results.

Demand more from your team Kings fans.

OR.......stop giving AEG your $$$$

If it was Blake's decision to challenge the goal in Game 3, just another reason to show Blake the door. Are you saying Blake refused to listen to the video review staff and Hiller, and make his own decision that ended the series right then and there?
 
I have never seen anyone mentioned Gematria before for NHL related , other than when Montreal went to finals in COVID bubble season When only Canadian teams played vs each other before finals,and based on Gematria Montreal should have won Stanley cup that season and I know a lot of NBA, MLB and NFL games based on that like 666 game reference and etc

Steve Kerr got his 666th win (567 in regular season + 99 in playoffs) on April 11,Kobe Bryant scored 81 points in his 666 game

The challenge was 100% Hiller and coaching staff.

By following Blakes/Lucs orders, I was meaning lines, playing time, and coaching philosophy that seemed to completely change at the start of the playoffs. Coaches tend to be very stuck in their ways and for it to completely change on day 1 of the playoffs makes me think someone was exerting some outside influence. Perhaps a GM whose job was possibly on the line and didn't want to lose for the 4th season in a row to the same team?
 
With all the talk of how awful a decision is was to challenge that play (and it was just that, an awful decision) I think that a lot of people flow over the fact that on the ensuing goal both Anderson and Gavrikov reverted back to the days of the Escort Service. I've seen better D at the Pro Bowl than what those two gave on that play.

Time to purge the front office.
There is enough good young talent so that a full rebuild is not necessary, but they must be surrounded- on the ice, behind the bench and upstairs, by people who can get the best out of them.

If they don't, then we are destined to become the Black Hawks for years to come.
I lived through the 81-86 seasons and I never want to see us there again.

My guess is ownership is oblivious to the idea that people even want Blake/Hiller fired. They’re not stewing over it. They’re totally checked out.

I would love to read an oral history of the challenge. Who asked for it. Who recommended it? Did the video guy try to talk him out of it? I mean, we had five minutes to review it on TV because of the kick call to see there was no interference.
