It’s deadline season!

Lots of sellers, it seems.

Lots of sellers, it seems.

I heard it described this way on Fan Hockey Show yesterday. Was looking like a serious sellers market with how close everyone has been all season, but it appears reality has sunk in as only three teams in the West look serious and they’re 1-3 in the Central.

Futa, Marchese and Freidman all believed Perry could easily fetch a second, though a first would be too high.

If there's one player the Kings should not think twice about trading, it's Perry. No knock on him or his play either; quite the contrary. He has shown he can still bring it and contribute, and his experience would be helpful to contenders as well.

It just makes sense for both. He’s 40 years old. He wants to go for another Cup, and has demonstrated he can still contribute on a deep run. I’m sad Kings didn’t sign him the previous year instead of this joke.

Yeah i said that. I’m a Perry truther.

I believe he was always going to be on the trading block unless the Kings were a solid playoff team.

Rumors of Laine to LA are making the rounds again. If Foegele and Ceci are going back the other way I guess I’m fine with it.
As long as he is just a rental for the rest of the season. If he has more term left, no way. I would rather have Ceci as a player on a rebuild than Laine.

He'd fit it on several contenders, as he's proven.

Could get some competing bids for sure, which is great for the Kings.

Can’t imagine he’d want to gamble with missing the playoffs altogether, and I can’t imagine Holland would deny his request to be moved to a contender. If he stays he’s a true one. That would be a plot twist.

I'm thinking the Kings will be buyers which seems stupid but with so many teams now out of it it might make sense. Maybe trade Perry but if Holland can gets some upgrades for next season it may be worth it. I know everyone hates the Dumolin and Ceci signings but that was what was available. Injuries have now crippled their ability to do a full on rebuild. If the oil lose tonight and we somehow beat the Islanders...

Forget that, did Hiller take over in Ottawa? They blew a 2 goal lead in the 3rd and lost to the oil.

bad day
Utah won vs Washington,Vegas lost , Oilers won, Winnipeg won
Sharks won
If Kings will lose to Islanders ..
The Sharks had a 4-2 lead going into the 3rd period, then the Habs tied the game at 5-5 with less than 10 minutes to go in the third period. The Sharks scored on a PPG with about 3:20 left in the game, and then withstood a Habs onslaught with the goalie pulled and then ended up scoring an EN to make the final s ore 7-5.
