Ok, as someone who lives out of market, can someone please explain?

After looking up KDOC, I believe I've been had. I doubt that they're going to broadcast on a religious channel...

We finally made it to North Carolina last week. Lake Norman area. We looked for homes all weekend long. It’s beautiful out there.

It really is. You'll have a bunch of NASCAR drivers as neighbors.

That is my preference! I love seeing the other teams takes on the Kings.

Now with Faust gone, I'd be much more likely to watch the King feed from time to time, as long as Nick can have the majority of mic time over Fox. But yes, there are several other teams who do a great job with their coverage.

I really disliked Faust and don't understand how there was a good chunk of people upset at his departure. Sure he was ok at play by play but I just couldn't stand his added commentary he added in while they were still skating. Like when he would start saying snarkily "shutout" when we were close to one, or when we were up a goal and lost the momentum, he'd start pontificating on how the other team was going to even it up (yeah he was right about it often but it didn't make for good broadcasting), etc etc etc.

Is this just me?

Ohh wow you decided to make the move? I remember you mentioning it before. In SC I am getting a little tired of the roadwork which is just constant and crazy, like tearing the road up and redoing it, over and over. This year the summer heat was whatever, last year we were dying.

Interest rates kinda suck unfortunately atm, but I think prices are dropping. I've only been to NC twice, Raleigh for a game and Charlotte visiting a few years ago. Everything (Lake Norman / Raleigh) is about 2 hours from us (near Columbia). Good luck on the house search! We kinda had to take what we could get last year when it was crazy, I hope it's a little easier now. Whole HOA thing is weird.

If ya wanna hit up the annual Kings game in Raleigh hit me up, could always use the backup :D

No. I am thrilled to see him on his way out. I don't think the guy cared for hockey, or if he did it didn't come across to our ears. Jim always seemed irritated with him and would either talk way too much to compensate, or would be silent for long amountsm of time after a negative comment he frequently made. Faust was always very negative after positives. He was the king of jinxes, for whatever that matters. Didn't like him at all as a broadcaster. I'm sure he's a cool guy.

We saw Denny Hamlin's home, I believe he is adding on more garages. His house from the lake and in front looks incredible. I believe Kurt Busch is in The Point as well. On a sour note, we also heard and felt the explosion, when the Tennessee Titan's DB's home blew up, killing his father. My wife woke up and asked if it was an earthquake. We were on the second floor it was loud and shook the house for just a second. Very sad!

That is 56.3, 56.1 which is the main channel KDOC is an owned and operated TCT station. 24/7 religious programming.
I'm not sure how the "main channel" is designated. On Spectrum 56.3 is pretty prominent since so many folks watch MEtv. It's great old shows all the time. The problem would be since KDOC and MEtv are synonymous in Los Angeles, and it's popular, I'm not sure they would want to relinquish the 3 hours of space for the Kings.
