I know we’re destined to lose every game now but I’m still convinced this is a good team. The puck luck is atrocious but they deserve better.
I think it’s mental weakness. They clearly lack confidence and are just making stupid, timid plays. It’s the cowardice that bothers me.

Even though Durzi can be a foolish turnover machine at the worst possible times, he was partly the engine to the Kings' offense last few seasons ago and made the PP better besides Vilardi (despite the latter not a d-man). With them gone, their PP has suffered greatly and their 5-on-5 offense and OT offense has been taken down a notch this season, not helped by Arvidsson's absence due to surgery.
So much this. They back off way too much. No timeouts ever by Todd. Dumbest ish I have ever seen.

I blame Blake for that. He’s the architect of the line up. Todd must work with what he’s got. (IMO, he’s always gotten a lot out of the perpetually soft line ups Blake sticks him with.)
They would be smarter to replace the GM instead.
