This could've been so much better. It just didn't work.

I just saw this movie, i thought it was pretty good. i was a little scared too, this movie is just creepy, but i want to know if the "acutal footage" was fake? thats what IMDB is saying, but im not sure.

Such a fun '80's flick. Remember seeing a double feature with this and Americathon at the Americana in Panorama city...Meatloaf, Blondie, Roy Orbison...and a tremendous performance by ALICE COOPER. This is dumb fun at it's greatest ladies and gentlemen.:chesh:

Saw "The Men Who Stare at Goats" this weekend. Clooney and Ewan McGregor were both fun to watch. Being all about the Army, the biggest thing that was missing in the movie was women (actress who plays Charlotte from Lost appears for less than 5 minutes).

Is there a story? Pretty much what you can gather from the trailer. Is it funny? Yeah there are a few laughs now and then. Are there goats? Yup.

So, decent flick, but not really something you should pay $12.50 to see IMHO.

Saw 2012 with the misses on Saturday...

there went about 2 &1/2 hours and $18 that I won't get back.
You have to be sold on a lame/bogus plot line in the begining for the rest to potentially happen. Then the end is predictable. Like always with apocalyptic(sp?) movies.
Save $17 dollars by waiting until it becomes available at a RedBox in your local Albertsons in about 5 months. You aren't missing much.

oops! Almost forgot.

Last weekend I saw not one, but two movies.

Saw the 4th kind on 11/6. Its a pretty creepy movie. Since Chapman University is involved with it, it seems legit.
...wierd...
Also say A Christmas Carol in 3D. 3D tech is pretty decent now. It was worth seeing in that format. And for that matter, the previews Avatar and Toy Story 3 looked freakin cool in 3D too.

Both are a go in my opinion.

Bought the new Wallace and Gromit short "A Matter of Loaf and Death." I was ok, so far I think the first 3 shorts they did was much better. Loaf and Death was kinda so so. I didn't think it was as creative and it also seemed short too even though it was a standard 30 minutes like the others.

Also got to watch Serenity this Saturday. I got the Firefly DVDs three years ago and it's taken me 3 years to get through all what, 12 episodes. :P I liked the show and the movie, I'm sad they didn't get to continue it...

Damn, This whole run is still on my to-do list. So it was better than Star Trek????

Watched Teeth last night for the second time. Man I LOVE this movie, it's so fricken funny. Even Adgy was laughing at all the severed dicks in this movie flopping around.

Watched Sukiyaki Western Django over the weekend. It was ok I guess. I didn't think it was original (although I think that might have been the point). Some of the parts were funny.

I could have really done without Quentin Tarantino though...

Oh, another redeeming quality is that dude on the poster and the hooker chick were pretty hot.

hrm is pretty much all i could muster about this one... it had one or two really compelling moments, but overall, i don't think the satire worked all that well.

Oh I didn't know you didn't like Quentin Tarantino either. I thought I represented a very, very, very small minority. I didn't really have a choice. It was that or pay attention to Star Trek since my brother was watching it in the same room.

What? Hilary Duff in a non Disney, teeny bopper movie?????!!?
