### LGK Police Pursuit Thread ##

Last night on both 5 and 9. LAPD ran a plate after suspect ran a stop sign in DTLA. Astrovan with plates that came back to something else. It was on. He headed east on the 60 and went right by Fairway Dr, which we could see and hear from our balcony. CHP helo had the handle, but these were 6 other helo's following.
Suspect was disabled by a spike strip and gave up on w/b 91

All channels- Elementary school murder-suicide. 2 adults dead, 2 children injured. San Berdoo.
 
Domestic violence issue. Sad to say, but the two kids may be collateral damage
 
Just saw one!! Eastbound on the 101, they got on right in front of me on Sepulveda. The ultimate LA experience - seeing a car chase live and in person. Must've just started, too, only one cop car was chasing him and a couple of others then joined.
 
UHaul chase on KTLA 5.

Over now, but it was pretty dramatic.

Female driver was visibly agitated, flailing around and talking to herself while driving at a high rate of speed through traffic and eventually ending up downtown in the produce district. Along the way, she clipped a few cars, nearly hit several pedestrians. She rammed a police cruiser (after which it looked like an officer fired on her), knocked over some oranges (no foreshadowing, though), and ran fruitlessly through the produce mart where she was apprehended. She was still agitated and talking to herself while cuffed to the point where they had to muzzle her.

Arrest still in progress as I end this post, but pursuit is over.

pursuit in OC on KDOC right now

edit: north on 5 into LA Co.

driver going at speed limit with other cars going faster LOL
 
crazy chase going on at ABC7 right now. driver with no lights going through the dark. oncoming cars can't see it. it's wreck waiting to happen.
 
Stolen U-Haul pursuit on KCAL9 and KCBS2 right now. Front right tire now missing due to spike strip, so who knows how long this will last.

EDIT: Just flipped over to check in on pursuit, and it continues, even though the front right rim has ground flat to the ground and is no longer turning. They continue to sled along.

EDIT2: Vehicle stopped. Standoff. Neither of two occupants have emerged.

That chick had a death wish hugging her man when they exited the car........they are both lucky they didn't get a lead blanket as a late Xmas present.

Rule #1 Never drop your hands out of sight towards your waistband when you have a gazillion cops with guns pointed at you. rolleyes:

Years ago they would have been lit up like Bonnie Clyde hugging like that......but nowadays .........rolleyes:
 
Stolen Dodge Challenger pursuit on KCAL9. Flying at 100+ MPH at times
 
Its on......Ch 5 S/B 405 going thru the westside LAPD chasing burglary suspect
 
Smart man drove into the Fox Hills Mall parking structure and is gone. No ground units were following him LAPD was in monitor mode.

Thats all folks........
