As far away from us as possible. Boesner signing there would complete the set!Hertl reportedly traded to Carolina. Seems Marner to Vegas is all but assured.

He will always be Penncakes to meI remember both of those but I don’t remember much else that was positive. That could just be me. Playoff Penner rings a bell too. Last i heard of him he went by DJ Pendemic.
Well I will retroactively join you. He had his share of poorly timed penalties and coughing up the puck. A little Durzi-ish. But he was tough and made it hard to enter the Kings zone. Of course so did Willie and Scuderi/Regher. Then the skill of the puckmovers. Just an amazing D corps top to bottom.

You hearing that he's staying put?Hope everyone kept their Kuzmenko jerseys…
As much as I despise Vegas, their GM is running a masterclass of how you build a team without any loyalty to players. He has no issues shipping off quality to get better quality.Hertl reportedly traded to Carolina. Seems Marner to Vegas is all but assured.
He feels like the 3rd or 4th option to me. My thoughts were 1) Marner 2) Boeser 3) Trade 4) Kuz.You hearing that he's staying put?
They run a tight ship. Fully focused on winning now. Ruthless when it needs to be.As much as I despise Vegas, their GM is running a masterclass of how you build a team without any loyalty to players. He has no issues shipping off quality to get better quality.
You gotta wonder if they can maintain this focus forever or if they finally hit a tipping point where they slip well down in the standings. It happens to every team, but they really don't show any signs of it happening soon. They run a tight ship. Fully focused on winning now. Ruthless when it needs to be.
On a scale of 1-Eklund how Eklund is this?
You'd think it'd unsustainable. They buy high and sell low. They have no 1st rounder this year or next. They have current roster players that'd be desirable to some teams - but again, at a low price. Hague may be the only exception. You gotta wonder if they can maintain this focus forever or if they finally hit a tipping point where they slip well down in the standings. Carolina also runs a masterclass. They pick up great assets for cheap. As much as I despise Vegas, their GM is running a masterclass of how you build a team without any loyalty to players. He has no issues shipping off quality to get better quality.

Yeah, let's see what Holland does. I don't foresee him touching Byfield, Clarke, Kempe, Foegele, Fiala, Anderson, and obviously not Kopi or Dewey (unless he asks for a trade)...at least not this season. All others are available in my opinion though I don't expect them to move too many. Next year, depending on who is available, could they move a guy like Fiala? Absolutely.Would be a brilliant move from Vegas. Bring in a few younger serviceable pieces on cheap contracts for Hertl and make a big upgrade with Marner v Hertl. The money balances out I guarantee they'd bring in good young players on controllable and cheap contracts from Carolina.
Wish we had such a visionary as GM. Guess it's TBD.
I know there are people who are not onboard with Fiala. I am not one of them.Yeah, let's see what Holland does. I said it earlier with Vegas. Could they be top heavy with not enough gas in the bottom six or on defense? Possibly.
The best on the Kings at controlled zone entries and became very responsible defensively under Hiller. Fiala is decent value at 7.87 million. Cheaper than Faber at 8.5M.I know there are people who are not onboard with Fiala. I am not one of them.
My question is why would we think of trading a guy who just scored 35 goals who is on a very good contract?
