We all know that a coach receiving a “vote of confidence” from a GM in any professional sport is a precursor to firing that coach/manager.What else could he have said?

Ftfy. Now we can blame Blake and Luc
I hope not. CB lost the room. I don’t think TM did. Most problems weren’t of his making. Cascading failure stated w Cal’s 3-year $5M AAVCan’t be repeated often enough. I still think Berube is the target.
This was brought up many times in other threads. This move is similar to pulling the goalie after giving up 4 goals where none of them were his fault. Some of the folks here are just looking at TM's faults (in their eyes) and are hoping JH will be an improvement.Read through 5 pages of this thread. No one mentioned that at the end of the day it’s mostly on the players

Pretty much nobody believed him and he said what pretty much everyone expected him to say.LOL
But how refreshing it would have been if Blake had said, "Well, if we keep losing, we may have to explore the possibility of making some changes..."
When Blake assured us Coach Todd wasn't going anywhere, I could literally hear the collective groan from the LGKers. I don't think his prepared speech fooled any of us. The outcome of this was as predictable as Coach Todd's OT.
Anyway, I used my patented BS Translator app, and this is how his presser decodes:
"I'm waiting until the break to kick this clown to the curb. I mean, at this point, it's either me or him..."
Oh… I think more than enough problems were of his own making. His abject stubbornness and total lack of imagination were his undoing… his time had come.I hope not. CB lost the room. I don’t think TM did. Most problems weren’t of his making. Cascading failure stated w Cal’s 3-year $5M AAV
that's fair but the goaltending cluster cost TM. RB had diving saves with PC last season and with CT in the 1st third of the season. TM leaving won't fix thatOh… I think more than enough problems were of his own making. His abject stubbornness and total lack of imagination were his undoing… his time had come.
Todd couldn’t win with that powerhouse sharks team in the early to mid 10’s, and he couldn’t do anything with the two best forwards in the universe on an oilers roster.. from the moment he was installed as our coach, I’ve been of the opinion that he wouldn’t get it done here either. His failure to navigate the line change game in two playoff series losses to the oilers, and his stubborn refusal to call time outs to try and turn the tide is basically all I needed to see to realize he’s just not a great coach. Good coach, sure, but he’s never going to be the guy to orchestrate and manage a team to championship caliber.Read through 5 pages of this thread. I think everyone understands this is on the players. At least anyone who’s been following the team since 2012.Read through 5 pages of this thread. No one mentioned that at the end of the day it’s mostly on the players
Kinda. Also been 5 coaches since 2012. Two of them for just about 5 years each.I think everyone understands this is on the players. At least anyone who’s been following the team since 2012.
5 head coaches since 2017 says a lot about the state of the franchise.
Way overdue.
Ecktore! Is it really you?
or RB pushing the pressure relief valve to appease the fans. RB hiring a coach doesn't make much sense at this pointThis was brought up many times in other threads. That’s Devan Dubnyk?Spoken like a bunch if people who have absolutely no clue what’s happening in LA.
